This hitchlock is approved to Sold Secure Gold Standard for ALKO hitches and comes with a 5-year manufacturer warranty.
Immediately, you can see the bright yellow colour of the hitchlock body, this makes it extremely visible and so it’s an obvious deterrent to thieves. This heavy-duty hitchlock is made from high-quality materials such as the robust anti-saw steel casing. This casing covers the fixing bolt of the hitch to protect it from been stolen.
The dummy Towball will help secure your trailer or caravan when it is un-hitched, this hitchlock can also be used when your vehicle is hitched to your trailer or caravan. However, it is important you don’t attempt to tow with the hitchlock still attached.
As standard three keys and a dummy Towball are included.
A couple of things we like about this design is that when in use the fixing bolt provides little area to grab. Therefore, attempts to bend or attempt a brute force attack are hard. As well the weight of only 3 kilos makes this easy to handle and quick to install or remove. You can install or remove this lock from your hitch in as little as 10 seconds.
As you can see from the video the keys can only be removed from the lock when the lock is engaged. Meaning you can’t accidently leave it unlocked.
